An excellent and professional agency. Everything was organised and understandable. The entire process is transparent at every step, and the agents respond promptly to all questions, always providing clear guidance on the best course of action. When needed, they were happy to make adjustments to the tenancy agreement.
During the move-in, Katie helped us check that everything in the property was in order. We spent over three hours on the inventory, and throughout the whole time, we had full support from both Katie and Bethany.

Honestly the smoothest move-in I've ever had. The Caversham team have been wonderful.
Not only has the team been incredibly responsive, but they've helped throughout every step, with patience and understanding. I've dealt with a few people since my move in, from general questions to permissions to make changes (like a CityFibre install), but I have to give a particular shout-out to Sam, Emily, Bethany, Cara, and Katie. Can only say good things about all the staff at Walmsley. I was made to feel that no question was a stupid one. I asked to visit the property a few times after my offer had been accepted, and usually the staff are very busy, but I was always accommodated with my requests. I was always kept up to date with how things were progressing, not once did I have to chase to find things out. So from me, heartfelt thanks go to Emmaura, Louisa, Paula and Oliver who have helped make this sale a stress free one. Would definitely recommend Walmsley to anyone.

I've dealt with several estate agents in Reading in recent years, and this has been by far the best experience. Everything from viewing the property, to arranging references and checking in was done efficiently. Everyone I have dealt with has been helpful and really friendly - even the wording in the tenancy agreement made me feel valued as a tenant. Walmsley, particularly Sam, have made a potentially stressful experience so much easier and I would be more than happy to use them again if ever I need to.

They were very friendly, but also thorough. In particular, I would like to point out the extremely detailed inventory check-in document that they provided, which left out no detail; it even included things like minor tears in the wallpaper and marks on the carpet!

The agents we arranged our current (soon-to-be past!) let through were unfortunately much less thorough and less responsive to issues raised. On the other hand, Sam immediately arranged for a plumber to come and investigate a leaky faucet that was noticed during the check-in - far better than others we've worked with.

Overall, nothing I would suggest to improve the process - 5/5.
